Really Good Things is a highly specialist consultancy founded by Sarah Klaveness, and supported by a trusted network of senior specialists. Every project is led by Sarah, building the team around the individual challenge.
The projects we work on all have elements of positive social and environmental change. And we have 20+ years’ senior experience in these sectors to guide us.
What do we do best?
We come into complicated situations, understand the landscape quickly, and use our experience and sector knowledge to find the next good thing our clients should be doing - the thing that will have the greatest positive impact. And then we work in partnership with their in-house teams to make it happen.
When do organisations appoint us?
When the way forward feels uncertain and more information is needed to inform decisions. When there is an opportunity, but no clear route. When something isn’t working, or there is an ambition to do things differently. When an outside senior perspective is needed. Or when they want to engage, persuade, and bring people along with them.

Sarah is a senior impact and communications strategist with 20 years’ experience working with businesses and organisations at the forefront of positive change. As a former charity CEO, Corporate Social Responsibility lead for an international engineering Plc, and a former Director of Communications in the energy sector, Sarah brings a wealth of insights and a unique cross-sector perspective to empower brands + causes to drive forward positive social and environmental change.

Charlotte
Senior communications, public affairs + policy
Charlotte is a highly experienced communications professional with more than a decade’s experience in public affairs, policy, local government and public engagement. She spent eight years as a local councillor both in Lancashire and Cheshire and worked in Parliament for two MPs. Since leaving Parliament, she has worked for some of the country’s leading companies, both in-house and agency, with a particular specialism in the built environment.

Charlotte specialises in shaping strategic organisational marcomms and devising campaigns that change the world; from managing communications for a major UK construction contractor transforming places, to marketing multi-million pound funding programmes for a charitable trust changing lives. Charlotte works cross sector with corporates, foundations, campaigning organisations, and membership networks. She is passionate about achieving social, environmental + tech justice.
