Supporting conservation

CLIENT: CHESTER ZOO

We loved working with Chester Zoo on a number of projects to support their conservation and fundraising work. And we’ve been telling people why elephants don’t like chilli ever since…

Supporting conversation at the zoo and around the world. Helping nature not just survive, but thrive.

The context

Chester Zoo is a major wildlife charity making a vital contribution to tackling the global extinction crisis.  They are conservationists, scientists, educators, veterinary experts, botanists, wildlife managers, animal behaviourists, endocrinologists, and environment policy influencers.

How we worked with Chester Zoo

We worked with Chester Zoo on a number of projects:

  • To research artists for a culture-led festival, designed to attract new audiences to visit Chester Zoo

  • To develop communications about the conservation projects being delivered by Chester Zoo, including their work in North-East India where Asian elephants are in decline due to growing human populations, loss of forest land, and an increase in land used for farming and agriculture

  • To research and develop a stronger proposition for trust and grants funders, and to create a narrative to inspire potential legacy givers
